An Ancient European Seed from the Brassica family.
It is naturally rich in Omega 3 & 6 Essential Fatty Acids, as well as vitamin E.
Camelina needs little water to be grown, and increase the health of the soil.
Our Camelina is grown in the Applegate Valley and in Klamath County of Southern Oregon.
It is grown naturally, without pesticides.
Camelina is harvested using a Combine, after it's beautiful yellow flowers have dried and gone to seed.
It is then cleaned and ready to be pressed into oil!
Our oils are cold expeller pressed, and gravity settled. No chemicals or deodorizing technique's are used, unlike the processing of many other oils. Our oil is fresh and full of all it's nutrients!
Camelina has a light broccoli flavor, some say even a little nut like! Delicious mixed with your favorite balsamic vinegar over a salad.
Or use it to saute fresh asparagus, even fry up some potatoes!
Camelina has more Omega 3's than Omega 6. Making it a healthy choice oil!
